Aria Studio Gallery is located in beautiful, downtown Edmonds, just east of the fountain on Main Street, one block. Joan Archer paints and teaches classes at the studio gallery Tuesday through Saturday. New paintings by her are displayed in the gallery and can be viewed during business hours; patrons are encouraged to make arrangements with the artist if a private showing of work is desirable.

The artist is a native of Seattle, Washington and received her B.A. in Art from the University of Washington. Continuing studies with local instructors convinced Joan that watercolor was a media with challenges to be met. "Watercolor is a versatile medium, also wonderful to incorporate with other mediums such as pastel or oil bar." A popular teacher, exhibitor, and award winning artist, Joan's paintings can be seen at the Aria Studio Gallery in Edmonds and at Main Street Gallery in Chelan, Washington.
